Hotel Discounts with Consolidator Searches Like Expedia

Rather than flood the Hotel Cateogory with a bunch of ads like some sites do we have chosed to put all the PRICE SEARCH features in a catagory Called "Deals".  You'll find everything there from Expedia, Hotels.com, Priceline, Southwest, Funjet and more.

We recommend booking direct with the Hotel's own website, but there are times when rooms are not available direct, but are available through the consolidators (i.e. brokers) because they have pre-purchased "blocks" of rooms.  Shopping around online for rates can be time consuming but may be worth your time.

KidsinVegas.com TipUse the "Guest Reviews" tab on Hotels.com and the "Travelers Opinion" tab at Expedia to see how others enjoyed their experience at the Hotel Property you are considering.

Common sense would dictate that a "middleman" can not offer you a better price.  And while that is nearly always true; as there are exceptions to this "rule".  To reduce risk some Hotels will pre sale "Blocks" of rooms at special contracual prices to "middlemen" like Expedia.  The guarntees income to the Hotel and lowers their risk. Afterall a room that sits empty is lost income.  Now lets say that a big event is coming and all the local Hotels in an area (at least the well known popular ones) will be sold out.  At that point the Hotels have no incentive to lower rates, so the deal from the consolidator may actually be better.  It's just economics and marketings.  So shop around.  But all things being equal you will almost always get better service, selection, and pricing by booking direct at the Hotel Website.

Find the Hotels then find the Price

Make a list of the Hotels you are considering then use the search tools on the Deals page to determine what is a "fair" rate.  Too many people choose a Hotel based solely on price and end up having a miserable experience.

Find the Hotels you like, then find the price.  Las Vegas has some Great Resort Hotel; but even the best resorts can be disappointing if you don't choose the facility that best suites your family's needs.
