Watch out for Resort Fees at Las Vegas Hotels
It doesn’t matter if you are booking your Las Vegas Vacation direct through a Travel Agent, from the Hotel 800#, a local Broker like i4Vegas or a national consolidator like Expedia… you will likely get stuck with a Resort Fee if you do not read the fine print.
With the economic downturn Las Vegas Hotels are really gouging people with “Resort Fees” to make up for the lower room rates.
Typical Fees are in the $15-$17 per night plus tax range! Add to this almost all Hotels charge at least $10 for internet access, plus local room taxes and you can easily add $30-$50 per night to your stay!
Those super cheap Hotel Rooms may not be cheap at all. It’s up to you to read the fine print. Everyone is doing it so make sure you know what you are getting yourself into before you book your room!
