3.5 million children visited Vegas last year! And their parents top concern; finding "things to do in Las Vegas for Kids". Family friendly fun activities are available "if" you know where to look, and we can help! Lets face it; Las Vegas wasn't designed for children. However, the Casino Marketing Guru's recognize families vacation together (10% of Vegas Visitors bring their children) and want your hard earned vacation dollars!

You'll find the Casinos are Family Fun in Las Vegasaccommodating, but not really "Kid Friendly". You are simply not going to find a red carpet welcome mat rolled out for Children in Las Vegas. What does this mean for you? You must plan ahead. Fortunately we can help with everything from finding the right Hotel to choosing the activates that suit your family's style.

Las Vegas for Kids - Pre Vacation Planning

Make a "vacation plan" before your trip. Don't expect to show up and "dump" the Kids with a "sitter" all day while you go out and play. And the Hotel Swimming Pool is not a babysitting option. Hotel Casino operators frown on parents who try to dump their kids at the pool all day with an older sibling. Just don't do it. Make sure you know what you will be doing before your trip. See our Activities page for more than 140 fun adventures.

7 Easy Steps for your perfect Vegas Vacation

  1. First you'll need a nice comfortable and "Kid Friendly Hotel", so read our "Hotels" pages.
  2. Transportation - Will you be flying or driving? Flying may be cheaper and saves you the long car ride and countless "are we there yets". If you are driving the Desert outside of Las Vegas is Unforgiving - make sure you have AAA, Onstar, or better yet just rent a car and leave the worries to the rental car company. See our Airline and Car Rental pages.
  3. Now it's time to plan the activities! We suggest you plan no more than 2 actives per day and be sure to leave a "recovery" day if you are going to be here more than a week. Write down each day Monday, Tuesday, etc. And break it into blocks of time. Kids rise early; Vegas is asleep until 10 am! Plan in 4 hour blocks. Make sure to put meals in between each block. Vegas has a curfew, no kids under after 10pm! Plan between 10am and 10pm and you'll be fine.
  4. Time to schedule the meals. Yes schedule! We recommend you visit our Dining page for ideas on where to eat and some great deals on 2 for 1 coupons!
  5. Spend time off "The Strip" - go to Lake Mead, go golfing, visit a park in Henderson or Summerlin, plan on taking a break from the Hustle and Bustle. This is a great way to spend a "recovery" day.
  6. Now it's time to run through your list of what to bring so you don't forget anything and end up wasting vacation dollars on unnecessary items like sunscreen, hats, etc.
  7. Visit our Las Vegas Forums and get answers to your questions from our moderator or other visitors - its free!
