Licensed Daycare in Las Vegas
Advice from the City of Las Vegas
Don Kings, the senior license officer for Childcare for the City of Las Vegas advises, “Always deal with a licensed child care facility. There are no guarantees, but if you’re dealing with a licensed facility, you have some assurance that the provider has been through background checks through Metro, FBI, and the Clark County Health Department.” In addition, says King, the Las Vegas Fire Department, inspect these licensed facilities. “There is a better chance that your child is not being subjected to harmful things.” The department inspects pools and their safety, poisonous plants, and other safety hazards (for instance, making sure electrical outlets have safety caps).
