Las Vegas Shows for Families
KidsinVegas.com Tips...
- First a word about pricing. A typical show will run from $50 to $150 or more depending on seating location PER person. Only a handful of Vegas Shows discount tickets for Children. You have to decide if there is enough "Family Value" in those kind of prices.
- Taxes. Ticket Taxes are almost always ADDED to the prices quoted and can easily add another $30 to $50 to the cost of the show for a family of 4.
- Brokers. Anyone with a PC it seems can throw up a website and sell tickets on behalf of some broker. Can you trust them? We recommend the saftey of buying directly from the Venu Ticket office which is usually done by the Hotel/Casino Ticket office. Just go to the Hotels Website and buy direct. If you want to know if the price is good then use the Online Advertisements to see what Brokers are charging. Keep in mind a lot of Broker Tickets are NON REFUNDABLE.
- Show times. Many shows start late in the evening when children would be in violation of Las Vegas's Curfew Ordinance. Weekend shows cost more, much more!
- Just because a Show is listed as "Family Friendly" on some site doesn't mean it really is. For example "Folies Bergere" allows attendence by those as young as 16 but some of the Showgirls are Topless - go figure, this is Vegas after all.
Las Vegas Shows: Spring of 2008
* Designates the More Popular Las Vegas Shows. Links shown where known, go directly to ticket office on the "Official" Resort Owned Websites.
Just because a 2 year old is allowed to the show doesn't mean they will enjoy it. And who is going to drop $100 on a ticket for a 2 year old? Not us. Yes there are a handful of additional shows that allow children, but what's the point of seeing no name show at Las Vegas Show Prices?
