Imperial Palace Auto Collections
A Father/Son type of Event?
"Open to the public daily, The Auto Collections is one of the top tourist stops in Las Vegas as it features hundreds of automotive treasures from the past. One never knows what they will be seeing when they visit the world's largest and finest classic car showroom. Visitors could see up close and personal, Johnny Carson's 1939 Chrysler Royal Sedan which he drove to his high school senior prom or "Eleanor" the 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback used in the movie "Gone in Sixty Seconds"."
Will you want to drag the whole family to this one? The Auto Collections does admit children so while some may be bored others may really enjoy the experience. This could make for a nice father/son type of event while mom and the rest of the family enjoy the pool, or shop, or do something else.
When I was a kid my father would drag me to all kinds of car shows; it was his thing not mine. And while I've gown and come to enjoy and appreciate automobiles more now than then; the classic cars still don't do much for me. But for the automobile lover in you, the Auto Collections at the Imperial Palace may just be the ticket. And speaking of Tickets Admission is FREE "if" you print out the coupon from their website BEFORE you make your Las Vegas Trip.
If you forget to print the coupon... I believe one for each family member who plans on attending (you might want to call and verify this beforehand) you'll pay a few dollars each for admission and Children under 3 are free.
With 125,000 sq. foot showroom and approximately 250 automobiles on display a true car lover could eat up the better part of an afternoon here.
